Disneyland Paris will Host 2 Soiree’s for Halloween 2019

It’s news that fans have been longing for Disneyland Paris will finally host multiple Halloween Soiree’s starting this year.

Saturday 26th October and Thursday 31st October.

Previously Disneyland Paris has only ever hosted the Halloween Soiree on halloween night leading to high demand for the event and hotels and us fans have been longing for multiple events throughout the Halloween season the give us more options and to hopefully break up the crowd on what is always a very busy evening. We’re still quite away from Disneyland (which hosted 15 parties in 2018) and Walt Disney World (which hosted 36 parties in 2018) but a 50% increase is a good start.

The Halloween Soiree’s at Disneyland Paris are a fantastic way to enjoy the park in a totally unique way in and to get really immersed in the season of Halloween. The soiree’s are from 8pm to 2am and typically offer a slew of special entertainment only found on the night including a Halloween parade, shows such as it’s Good To Be Bad, character meets and greets, attractions with very little wait times as well as well as various dance parties and the chance to dress up in costumes.

Tickets for the Soiree’s are available to book now as part of a package stay and individual tickets will be available to book later in the year.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Official Opening Dates

The Walt Disney Company today announced the official opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World!

Galaxy’s Edge is set to open at Disneyland on Friday 31st May 2019 and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World on Thursday 29th August 2019.

Although before you rush off to book your trip just wait a moment and read on…

On both these opening dates there’ll be one thing missing from Galaxy’s Edge which guest may notice, ‘Rise of The Resistance’ the absolutely enormous, multi-level, never seen before, E Ticket attraction wont be opening with the rest of the land. So what’s happened has it been delayed? No one really knows as of yet but I imagine not. Maybe the rest of the land has been so ahead of schedule Disney saw an opportunity to ease what they know will be a mad rush on opening day with a phased opening by opening the rest of the land first and then opening the main attraction slightly later it may disperse the crowds slightly.

Also announced today is that on opening Smugglers Run, the Millennium Falcon attraction, will not be offering FastPass+, FastPass or MaxPass for a good while after opening so guest will have to go standby line only and at Disneyland in order to even get into Galaxy’s Edge guest will have to make a reservation (at no extra cost) which will limit the amount of people entering the land, so guest will have to be quick to make sure they secure a place. Ticketed entry to Galaxy’s Edge will be in place between 31st May and 23rd June.

I’ll be visiting Disneyland in August 2019 to attend the D23 Expo and I hope Galaxy’s Edge will be open in its full capacity by then.
